Budde Sheet Metal Works in the Spotlight
The Greater Dayton region reached a larger audience recently when SMACNA’s video production team output a Contractor Spotlight and Project Spotlight segment featuring DBX’s own Budde Sheet Metal Works!
These spotlights are a video series produced by SMACNA highlighting the superior work done by member contractors throughout the United States and Canada. The Contractor Spotlight showcases the operations of member contractors and the people that make it possible while the Project Spotlight focuses on specific projects being done by members. Budde Sheet Metal Works’ Project Spotlight was the Oregon District Seed of Life 8/4 Memorial Sculpture.
In April 2025, Budde Sheet Metal Works hosted the SMACNA crew. Employees and leadership of the specialty job shop had an opportunity to speak on camera about the company, the industry, and the work that it creates. The team from SMACNA also toured the Greater Dayton area to capture the diversity of sheet metal projects that Budde Sheet Metal Works has crafted. From Cox Arboretum MetroPark to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Budde Sheet Metal Works has their fingerprints throughout the Dayton region.
A family-owned business, Budde Sheet Metal Works is currently owned and operated by the third and fourth generation of Buddes who take pride in the history of their family business and the superb reputation that Budde Sheet Metal Works has in the sheet metal industry. Their president, Candice Budde, grew up in the industry and is determined to ensure that Budde Sheet Metal Works can continue for 100 more years as a pioneer of the Greater Dayton’s traditions in quality sheet metal work.
